Campus Police Response Incident Reports

These are cases in which we would have received a call and responded to a scene; but are cases in which no arrests were made due to the fact that we were not able to identify a suspect or verify that a crime or incident has actually occurred. In some cases the person who initially called us changes their mind or does not want to press charges. In many of these case the complaint was resolved by us, by means other than arrest. (Some times the only criteria for filing an “incident report” is that the incident takes 15 or more minutes of the officer’s time or that we believe the incident needs to be documented for future reference, such as “suspicious” persons calls or “keep-the-peace” calls.
